Audiovisual translation

The audiovisual department, led by Verónica López, provides subtitling, translation for dubbing and accessibility: subtitling for the deaf and hard of hearing and audio description.

Translation for dubbing: We can handle the translation and lip-synch and send the text to the studio ready for the dubbing.

Subtitling: We subtitle for cinema, DVD, teletext and festivals and can produce any existing format. Our subtitles do not have technical errors because we use professional subtitling software and all the linguists we use are highly experienced subtitlers.

Subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing (closed captions): We follow the guidelines of the UNE 153.010 standard and adapt the text and applied reading speed to the age of the viewers each program is addressed to.

Audio Description: We apply the guidelines of the UNE 153.020 standard, perform a pre-analysis of the lapses between dialogue or significant sound elements and always try to avoid subjectivity in the descriptions. We can also offer the recording of the AD script in collaboration with a recording studio in Barcelona.

We offer all language combinations (from any source language to any target language).

We can accept large volumes of work and guarantee consistency between projects by using our style guide and a single reviewer for each project.

Veronica will be happy to identify your audiovisual translation needs and provide the best possible solution. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
